Constructed of a light blue cotton rayon blended cloth base, the exterior bearing a machine embroidered golden yellow inscription of FRONT LEITSTELLE (FRONT CONTROL CENTRE), unmarked, measuring 21 cm (w) x 10. 5 cm (h), a rare example of an armband worn by personnel attached to the Wehrmacht Streifendienst situated near the frontline to direct soldiers returning from convalescence or leave in extremely
